About Brooklyn

Portrait of Brooklyn Hadfield

Brooklyn is a clinically trained therapist based in Perth, Western Australia, offering integrated therapeutic services both in person and online. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work, specialising in Advanced Clinical Practice and is certified in Clinical Hypnotherapy, Strategic Psychotherapy and as a Transcendental Meditation® Teacher. Brooklyn’s approach is grounded in evidence-informed modalities, enhanced by holistic frameworks that support healing across mental, emotional, and spiritual domains.

Brooklyn's clinical expertise spans trauma recovery, crisis intervention, addiction treatment, and youth mental health. She has supported diverse populations through acute psychological challenges and has facilitated both individual and group therapy in high-intensity settings—including long-term drug rehabilitation programs, crisis care platforms, and school-based environments.

Brooklyn’s therapeutic philosophy is deeply informed by both clinical rigor and her long-standing immersion in spiritual and holistic healing traditions. At the age of 18, she began a transformative four-year apprenticeship under the guidance of a highly gifted Mexican healer. During this period, she was trained in trauma release work, emotional energy clearing, meditation, and a range of integrative healing practices. This early foundation instilled in her a profound respect for the mind-body-spirit connection and continues to shape her work today.

During these formative years, Brooklyn was inspired by the profound experience of consciousness in her daily meditation practice, at age 22, she went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Consciousness-Based Leadership from Maharishi International University in the United States—an institution known for its focus on holistic education, inner development and Vedic Science. Here, she dedicated years to exploring and deepening her understanding of consciousness through intensive meditation and study, including almost two years spent as a monk meditating many hours per day and studying the laws of nature, human potential, and the mind-body connection.

She spent the next decade in the United States, holding a range of leadership roles across both national and international initiatives. During this time, Brooklyn served as a Director for nonprofit organizations and as a coach specializing in meditation, spirituality, and consciousness. She delivered programs that seamlessly integrated mental health principles, holistic healing modalities, and trauma-informed care. Her work included coaching high-level professionals, supporting at-risk youth, crisis intervention and assisting individuals in recovery from addiction and acute trauma. She also guided many through existential crises, spiritual awakenings, and profound personal transformation.

Driven by a deep commitment to providing comprehensive and integrative care, Brooklyn earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from Columbia University in New York City, specialising in Advanced Clinical Practice with children, youth, and families, and is a registered member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).

With a deep and integrated understanding of healing, she is committed to creating a therapeutic space where science and spirituality meet—where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered. Brooklyn's ability to bridge evidence-based clinical methods with intuitive, energetic, and somatic approaches allows her to meet clients at the deepest levels of their journey. She believes that true healing begins within and extends far beyond symptom relief, guiding individuals toward lasting transformation and inner peace.
